About this apartment

The whole top floor of a converted building in NG7, close enough to walk into the middle of Nottingham and far enough out that you can still leave the car outside for nothing.

Inside it is one bright run under a sloped ceiling. A deep velvet corner sofa faces a 55 inch television, a dining table is laid for four, and a desk sits in the window for the mornings that turn into work. The kitchen opens straight on to all of it, so nobody is shut away while supper happens. Induction hob, oven, microwave, air fryer, a proper coffee machine, and cupboards that hold enough to cook a real meal rather than only reheat one. There is a washing machine, which tends to matter by the third night.

The bedroom takes a double bed with a wardrobe and drawers, and the shower room is plain, clean and hot. The sofa bed turns the living room into a second bedroom, so four can stay without anyone drawing the short straw, and at 495 square feet there is room to do it.

The high street is two minutes from the door, with a supermarket, somewhere for coffee, a library and a run of places to eat. Nottingham Castle and Old Market Square are both under a mile, the Lace Market and the railway station a little over, and the arena about a mile and a half. Both universities are a short drive, and the Peak District is about forty minutes when you want to be out of the city altogether.

Free WiFi throughout, streaming on the television, free parking nearby, and stairs rather than a lift, so pack with that in mind.

The nightly rate is £90 from Sunday to Thursday and £130 on Friday and Saturday nights. The operator confirms the total for your dates when they reply.
